Hello, I have been living here for 7 yrs. I always have an issue with people pulling in to my parking space. I dont know what it is about my space, there could be no one along the building but they take my spot. I thought this would be taken care of with the hang tags, but it has not. In my parking area I still have people parking in spots with out tags and I have had one car park in the visitors for over a year. I have written to Kathy Horvath who wants pictures that I have provided and dates, the pics include the license numbers. I have requested we have signage put up for towing unauthorized vehicles, because we were made to register ours with the association. This has not happened and it has been several months since my last complaint and possibly a year since my first one.
We need to have resident parking only signs in place. We need clearly defined parking area, there are no lines on the blacktop and the unit numbers are not clear. In addition to private parking towing signs.
I was told when I purchased this unit that I would have a designated spot and if there was an issue to report it. Then the vehicle would be towed. I feel by not guaranteeing that I have a space after I come home from work, grocery shopping etc. they association is no living up to there agreement.
I hope the repainted unit numbers has fixed your issues. I am fortunate to not have had these issues or extremely uncommonly to where its just a minor inconvenience temporarily. I don't know what the hang tags really help to be honest I think towing should be a last resort and at owners request as they would know if that car belongs there.
I agree it would be nice if there were a few obvious private parking or "visitors park only in visitor spots / violators may be towed" signs near entrances would help in addition to the new paint if it hasn't solved it completely.
